As an established European manufacturer, we have constantly improved the quality of our products, becoming one of the main suppliers of ingredients for the food and beverage, paper and corrugated, green chemistry and animal nutrition industries. We are also recognised by the leading spirits companies for the high quality of our neutral grain alcohol which we produce in both the UK and Italy.

Our story

Founded in the 1950s as a fruit distillery (Seda), Sedamyl has grown to become one of the leaders in grain processing to produce starches, sweeteners, proteins and alcohol.

Since 1992, synergies with our international Joint Venture partners have allowed us to constantly innovate, boost production and increase quality and safety standards.

In the summer of 2019, we became an independent family group.

Our goal is to continue to grow with passion and competence, in an increasingly competitive global market. We guarantee our employees a safe and stimulating work environment, and we guarantee our customers reliable service focussing on excellence, in line with our traditions and values.
